About the course
This course is designed for people wanting to learn the skill of plastering, having little or no experience. People from within the construction industry i.e. painters, decorators and plumbers etc, or people wishing to tackle home improvements will also benefit greatly from these courses.
Teaching the correct methods for plastering, it will give confidence and knowledge to carry out plastering tasks.
The course covers:
1. Wall preparation.
2. Applying backing coats, sand and cement render and bonding coats.
3. How to apply the finish coat to give a flat smooth surface.
4. Fixing stop beads, drip beads and angle beads to external corners.
5. Plasterboard a ceiling and skim to a high quality finish.
To further your knowledge we could encourage further trade training after course completion.
