About the course
A hands on course designed to give as much experience as possible. Suitable for people with little or no knowledge, this course will build the skills you require.
The course will cover:
1. Cutting plasterboard to size correctly.
2. How to fix plasterboard by direct bonding "dob & dab". Fixing to studded walls, internal and external angles to windows, door returns and chimney breasts.
3. Using lining tape for applications.
4. How to make flush and angle joints, internal and external.
5. Cover finishes that can be applied to dry lined walls.
This is a modern approach to plastering, which will be used for the foreseeable future. This course gives a comprehensive first step in to this skill.
To further your knowledge we would encourage further trade training after course completion.
