About the Carpentry course
The aim of the Carpentry course is to provide you with basic carpentry skills. The Carpentry course is designed to teach you the whole process from planning to completion.
During the Carpentry course you will cover:
- Basic joints for woodwork
- How to build a carpenters saw stool
- Installing floorboards with access trap
- Building timber stud partitioning
- Setting up and fixing door linings
- Hanging a door
- Fixing locks and door furniture
- Cutting and fixing architraves
At the end of this Carpentry course you should be able to prepare, plan and carry out carpentry procedures, to a high standard. This will give you the ability to undertake carpentry jobs with confidence.
